Radish appears earlier than all other root
crops, marks the arrival of spring in our culinary menu and quickly leaves, giving way
to young cabbage and the first ground cucumbers. This is probably why salads with radishes
are really the spring ones. So, while the season is in full swing, I propose
to cook a simple and tasty salad of radishes with green onions, dill, lettuce. We prepare such a salad in the country, when
all the ingredients can be collected from the garden and seasoned with delicious homemade
sour cream. Ingredients (for 4 servings):
10 pcs of medium-sized radishes. a bunch of green onions 2-3 cm in diameter. a bunch of dill 2-3 cm in diameter. a bunch of lettuce leaves. 3-4 tbsp sour cream with a fat content of
20% (preferably homemade) salt 1/3 tsp. Wash, dry, lettuce leaves, cut into wide
strips. Wash dill, dry, chop. Chop the onion. Wash and dry the radish, cut the spine and
the remains of the tops, if the heads of the radish are small, cut them into 2 mm wide
circles and half-washers if they are large. Combine onion, dill, lettuce and radish, salt
(1/3 tsp salt), add sour cream. Mix. Radish and greens quickly let the juice out
of salt, so the salt must be salted and mixed immediately before serving. Serve immediately. Bon Appetit!
