The overwhelming probability is that when
modern food technology takes products from nature and changes them, it is going to reduce
their nutritive qualities and increase their dangerous qualities. That is what has happened
with fats, what has happened especially with carbohydrates, and what we have done with
protein foods as well. That really is the bottom line but there are some other ones.
If you look at labels and there are so many things on the label that they can barely fit
it in the space, put it back. If there are too many things there that you do not know,
put it back. If you were going to make this at home, what ingredients would you use? Compare
that and if there are too many more things than you would use, don’t use it. Those are
all basic rules.
